The Petitioner has approached this Court challenging an Order dated 18.08.2023 passed by the Appellate Authority declining to stay the Order dated 19.07.2023 passed by the District Magistrate under the Maintenance and Welfare of Parents and Senior Citizens Act, 2007, whereby the Petitioners have been asked to be evicted from the premises bearing House No. R-865, R-Block, J.J. Colony, Raghubir Nagar, Delhi-110027. 2.

The proceedings arise out of the Senior Citizens Act. In view of the fact that the order which is under challenge is only an interim order, this Court is not inclined to interfere at this juncture. 3.

Issue notice.

Considering the fact that the Petitioners have been evicted from the premises in question during the pendency of the appeal, the Appellate Authority is directed to dispose of the appeal pending before it within six months from today.
