This writ petition is preferred on behalf of the Petitioner under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:- "1. To issue a writ of mandamus or any other appropriate Writ/Order/Direction directing the officials of the Respondent Nos.1 to 4 for removing illegal and unauthorized construction at R-87 Village Joga Bai, Jamia Nagar New Delhi."

Order sheets indicate that, save and except, on 05.09.2023 when notice was issued in the writ petition, there has been no appearance on behalf of the Petitioner for the last three dates. 3.
Even today, Petitioner is unrepresented. It appears that Petitioner is not interested in prosecuting the writ petition. Additionally, this Court also notes from the Status Report filed by the STF as well as MCD that the property in question stands demolished on 25.09.2023.
