The present writ petition has been filed seeking the following reliefs: a) Call for the records of the case;

b) Issue appropriate writ. order(s) or direction(s) in the nature of writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to extend to the Petitioner, the benefits of pay parity viz. notional fixation of pay and allowances along with increments and the like, initially in the post of SI/GD and subsequently in the post of Insp./GD, at par with his batch mates, so appointed to the post of SI/GD through LDCE - 2013, w.e.f. 28.03.2014, in terms of the directions dated 19.08.2015, passed in W.P. (C) No. 354/2014. adjudicated along with bunch of writ petition;

c) Direct the Respondents to pay costs of this petition to the petitioner for compelling him to approach this Hon'ble Court for indulgence to seek justice.

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied for the present if the respondents are directed to treat the present petition as a representation and dispose of the same in a time bound manner.

Issue notice. Learned counsel for the respondents accepts notice and has no objection to this limited request.

In the light of this stand taken by the parties, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents to treat the same as a representation and pass a reasoned and speaking order thereon within a period of twelve weeks from today.

Needless to state, in case, the petitioner is aggrieved by any order passed by the respondents, it will be open for the petitioner to seek appropriate legal remedy as permissible in law.
