A Writ Petition under Article 226/227 of Constitution of India read with Section 528 BNSS has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for issuing of appropriate directions for protection and security through Police Station Sarai Rohilla, Delhi.

The Petition details the ongoing disputes between the Petitioner and Respondent No.2 and his family since 2020. Earlier also the similar Writ Petition (C) No.9854/2020 had been filed by Petitioner No.3 on 24.02.2021. it is asserted that from time to time various acts of aggression have been committed by Respondent No.2 and his family members, in regard to which three NCRs and one FIR bearing No.0322/2023 dated 10.05.2023 under The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Section 323/341/506 IPC have already been registered. Various complaints have been made to the Police despite which no action has been taken by the Police. There is eminent threat to the life and liberty of the Petitioner and hence, they have sought the directions to the Police for protection. 3.

Submissions heard and record perused.

From the submissions made in the Petition itself it is evident that it is along drawn dispute between the Petitioner and the Respondent No.2. FIR has already been registered. In case there is any threat perception, the Petitioners are at liberty to approach the District Witness protection Committee which would consider the individual case of each Petitioner and pass appropriate orders in case any such Application is filed before the Committee.
