The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeks quashing of order dated 16.04.2024 vide which the petitioner's representation against his transfer order, dated 01.02.2024, under which he was sought to be transferred from Group Centre Delhi to 071-BN, Tripura, has been rejected.

After some arguments, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would be satisfied if he is granted time till 31.07.2024 to join his new place of posting.

time should be granted to the petitioner and we are of the view that taking into account the medical problems which the petitioner's wife is facing, it will be in the interest of justice to grant two months' time to the petitioner to join his new place of posting. We, accordingly, dispose of the petition alongwith the accompanying applications, by granting the petitioner time till 31.07.2024 to report to his new place of posting in terms of the transfer order dated 01.02.2024. We further make it clear that no request by the petitioner for further extension of time will be entertained by this Court.
