The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that anticipatory bail be granted in respect of FIR No.139/2019 under Section 304B/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 registered with PS Model Town, New Delhi.

The petitioner is the mother-in-law of the deceased (hereafter 'PS'). PS was married to the petitioner's son on 08.02.2013. She was a Dentist by profession. PS and the petitioner's son were blessed with two children out of the said wedlock. At the material time, the daughter was aged about five years and the son was aged about two and a half years. It appears from the

information received that PS had committed suicide. The complainant (PS's father) had filed an FIR alleging that the relations between PS and her husband were not good and he was a short tempered person. He further alleged that his daughter (PS) was murdered and the petitioner was also a part of the conspiracy.

It is seen from the record that PS and her husband were living on a separate floor. The FIR also does not indicate that any dowry demands had been made by the petitioner.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed. The petitioner is granted anticipatory bail. The petitioner shall also submit a bail bond in the sum of ₹10,000/- with one surety of the like amount to the satisfaction of the concerned SHO.

The petitioner shall also ensure that she joins the investigation and fully co-operates with the Investigating Officer. Needless to state that if any of the abovementioned conditions is not complied with, the anticipatory bail granted to the petitioner would be cancelled. The petitioner shall not leave Delhi/NCR without information to the concerned IO. 8.
