This is a writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, 1950, seeking inter alia the following reliefs:- "(A) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus directing the respondent to immediately and forthwith grant approval to the proposal/recommendation/decision of the Disciplinary Committee to terminate the services of Mr. Satish Kumar, PET;"

Mr.Gupta, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that petitioner would be satisfied in case a direction is passed to the respondent-DoE to dispose of the application seeking grant of approval to the proposal of the Disciplinary Committee to terminate the services of Mr. Satish Kumar, PET in a time bound manner. 5.
Issue notice.

Notice is accepted by Mr. Rachit Gupta, learned counsel appearing for the respondent who submits that he has no objection in case this Court is inclined to pass such order with the aforesaid direction.

Accordingly, the Competent Authority of the DoE is directed to dispose of the application dated 30.12.2023 regarding the approval of termination of the aforesaid employee.

It is pertinent to note that despite the fact that the DOE was submitted the aforesaid the application on 01.01.2024, as indicated by the stamp acknowledgment at page 33, no action appears to have been undertaken till date.

In that view of the matter, the Competent Authority of DoE is directed to dispose of the said application positively within two weeks form receipt of this order.

In view of above, the petition along with the pending applications is disposed of with no order as to costs.
