Heard the respective counsels for the parties. 2.

The prayer in the petition is by member of the Society/Respondent No.2 to command the allotment of 'B' Category residential flat in compliance with the award dated 27th July 2016. 3.

Pursuant to the orders of this Court, the Registrar Co-operative Societies ('RCS') has filed an affidavit of compliance wherein a categorical statement is made that the execution of the award shall be taken to its logical end, in any case, within a period of four months from today. Since the statement is coming on instructions through an authority, we accept the same.

We, as such, permit the petitioner and the representative of Respondent No.2 (Society) to appear before the Respondent no.1/RCS on 17th September 2025 with all the relevant documents. 6.

The RCS shall look into the claim put forth by the petitioner in the matter of allotment of 'B' or 'D' category flat as against the vacant flats available with the respondent-society.

The Respondent-Registrar shall equally be sensitive to the vacancy of the flat, if any, to be occurred in case of cancellation of allotment, as has been sought to be demonstrated before this court through para 6 of the brief submission of Respondent no.2 -Society.

We make it clear that we will not be granting any further extension to the respondent/RCS in the matter of taking the award in question to its logical end.

As such, the petition stands disposed of in above terms. 10.

We make it clear that it shall be open for the aggrieved party to approach afresh.

We further make it clear that we haven't expressed any opinion on the merits of the matter and it is purely for the RCS to take the award in question passed by its office to its logical end.
