The present writ petition has been filed seeking direction to the respondent no.2/ MCD to take immediate action against the illegal use of the sealed property bearing no. J-12/26 (Basement), Rajouri Garden, New Delhi-110027 (hereinafter 'subject property') by the respondent no.4. 2.

was sealed by the respondent no.2/ MCD on 18th August, 2009. It is further submitted that despite the same, respondent no.4, who is 25% owner of the subject property, has illegally broken the seal, and is using the subject property for commercial purposes without any lawful authority. 3.

A status report has been filed on behalf of respondent no.2/ MCD, wherein it is stated that the original record of the subject property was not traceable in the office of the MCD. Therefore, after getting approval from the competent authority, the shops at front portion of basement of the subject property were re-sealed at three (3) points by the MCD on 3rd June, 2025 and the same has been informed to the respondent no.3/ SHO, P.S. Rajouri Garden, with the request to keep strict watch and ward over the subject property.

Considering the aforesaid submissions made on behalf of respondent no.2/ MCD, the present writ petition along with pending application stands disposed of.
