Pursuant to the order passed by this Court on 19th March, 2026, Mr. Kapil Dutta, counsel appearing on behalf of respondent no.2/MCD, has obtained instructions.
1.1 He confirms that the construction carried out by the petitioners on the ground floor and second floor has been regularized under the Regularization Scheme under the Delhi Municipal Corporation Act, 1957. 2.
In view of the aforesaid statement, the present writ petition is disposed of, while directing the petitioners to apply for a fresh electricity connection in respect of the ground floor and the second floor of the subject property.
