Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been filed with the following prayers:- "a. issue a writ in a nature of mandamus to direct Respondent to appoint a Special Officer not below the Rank of Inspector to investigate the present FIR case and who shall work directly under the aegis of Special Joint Commissioner of Police or Joint Commissioner of Police of Western Range in FIR no. 709/2016 registered at PS Ranhola u/s 420/468/471/34 of IPC; b. issue a writ in the nature of mandamus by directing the Respondent to complete the investigation in a time bound manner;

c. issue a writ in the nature of mandamus that a weekly status report should be mandatorily filed before Ld. MM/Trial Court by the above said Special Officer with the approval of Special Joint Commissioner of The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Police or Joint Commissioner of Police of Western Range;

d. direct the Ld. MM/Trial Court to hear the matter on weekly basis, so that the investigation can be monitored closely;

e. direct the Respondent to take legal action(s) against the erring officers namely SI Praveen Kumar & Insp. Rajesh Kumar and also to prosecute them under Section 201 of IPC or/and other provisions of law; and further investigate against the unknown persons who were involved in removal/destruction of original documents;"

Learned ASC for the State submits that the final report in the FIR has already been filed. A prayer has been made for taking legal action against erring police officials SI Praveen Kumar and Insp. Rajesh Kumar to prosecute under Section 201 IPC. Learned ASC submits that a departmental enquiry was initiated against SI Praveen Kumar and Insp. Rajesh Kumar. 3.

Learned Counsel for the Petitioner, on instructions from the Petitioner who is present in person, submits that the present Petition may be disposed of with liberty to the Petitioner to approach the Court of learned MM with appropriate remedy.
