The present petition has been filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India read with Section 482 Cr.P.C. seeking grant of parole for a period of 60 days in view of the medical exigency in the family, as his minor child is suffering from stone and is required to undergo surgery. 2.

It is admitted that the petitioner had applied for parole on 24th May, 2024 but decision is yet to be taken by the respondent. During the course of hearing, learned Additional Standing Counsel for respondent has stated that the Writ Petition be disposed of by directing the Competent Authority to consider such parole request within a time-bound manner. 3.

Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances of the case, the present Writ Petition is disposed of with the direction to the concerned authority to dispose of the request of parole made by petitioner within 10 days from today and to communicate the same to him so as to enable him to take further action, if required.
