2.
This issue was arising out of a dispute between the landlord and the tenant and an altercation occurred, the FIR was registered in 2021 on this basis.
3.
ASC for the State states that charge sheet has since been filed in both the cases, therefore, costs be paid considering that process is already underway.
4.
Accordingly, Manju Mittal and Shweta will respectively deposit 7,500/- each in the Delhi High Court Legal Service Committee within the next two weeks.
5.
The proof of the deposit shall be placed on an affidavit within two weeks thereafter. Subject to the cost being paid, the FIR stands quashed. 6.
Considering the above settlement between the parties and the chances of conviction of the petitioners being remote and bleak, there is no use continuing with proceedings of the present FIR as it would be a misuse of the process of the Court and an unnecessary burden on the State exchequer. Accordingly, the petition is allowed. Consequently, the FIR No. 1009/2024 and FIR no. 1010/2021under Sections 323/341/506/509/34 of IPC registered at PS Maurya Enclave, Delhi and proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.
7.
Parties shall abide by the terms of settlement. 8.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
