By way of present writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, the petitioner seeks following prayers :- "To provide effective and adequate police protection to the petitioner and her family members to exercise her rights, duties and privileges in the interest of justice;"

Mr. Chandra, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that petitioner has an apprehension of threat to her life at the hands of one Jaiveer, Deepak and Hemant. He submits that aforesaid persons had entered into some transaction with the husband of the petitioner and that the petitioner has no role in the same. It is further submitted that no case is pending either against the petitioner or her husband. harassment at the behest of the above-mentioned persons. Petitioner has already filed a complaint in this regard with the concerned office of DCP, however, no action has been taken till date. Petitioner is also contemplating to file an application under Section 156(3) read with Section 200 Cr.P.C. before the concerned M.M.

Issue notice.

Learned ASC for the State accepts notice and submits that no investigation is pending against petitioner or her husband. Insofar as, complaint filed by the petitioner is concerned, he submits that the same shall be looked into. In the meantime, mobile number of Beat Officer shall be provided to the petitioner.

In view of the above, present petition is disposed of. 6.

Needless to state that petitioner may seek recourse for her remedies as may be available to her under the law, if so advised.
