Writ Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for cancellation of bogus and fake scheduled Caste Certificate bearing No.SC/04/42/17587/19/4/2010/9421027223 dated 05/05/2010 procured by Respondent No.7, which has become basis for similar bogus Certificates facilitated by Respondent No.7 and to take stringent action against spurious caste certificate mafia operating in Delhi. 2.

Learned counsel for Respondent No.1/ Union of India has filed Counter Affidavit stating that the matter concerned has been sent to GNCT of Delhi.

Status Report has also been filed on behalf of the State, wherein it has been submitted that the Report has been obtained from Tehsildar (Seelampur) / L.O. and the statements of the witnesses have been recorded, The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. who have identified the caste of Nakul Kashyap as Mallah. It has also been found that that the Caster Certificates have been duly issued by Tehsildar, Seelampur.
