CRL.M.A. 29707/2024 (seeking modification by petitioner) 1.

The present application has been filed by the petitioner seeking modification of the orders dated 06.09.2023 & 04.04.2024, however, in the guise of modification, the petitioner is seeking stay of the police visits to his home.

Considering that the petition is seeking removal of petitioner's name from the surveillance register and therefore, with the consent of the parties, the petition is taken up for consideration today itself. 3.

Learned ASC (Crl.) for the State fairly submits that the petitioner's case is required to be reviewed as the last offence alleged against the petitioner was in the year 2008, in which the petitioner already stands acquitted. He submits that the concerned DCP will review the petitioner's status and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from today. 2.

In view of the above, the present petition stands disposed of. In case the petitioner still remains aggrieved, he shall be at liberty to seek appropriate remedy in accordance with law.
