This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a period of four months w.e.f. 01.07.2025.

Disputes having arisen between the parties in relation to a Term Sheet dated 20.01.2021 in respect of a Power Purchase Agreement and land lease rights, petition was filed by the Petitioner under Section 9 of 1996 Act, being O.M.P.(I) (COMM.) 236/2022 in this Court, which was allowed on 06.09.2022 and with the consent of the parties, Sole Arbitrator was appointed. As the arbitral proceedings progressed, mandate of the learned Arbitrator was extended by this Court from time to time and lastly, vide order dated 17.12.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 967/2024, upto O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 442/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. 30.06.2025. Petitioner avers that the learned Arbitrator has reserved the award and has sought four months to pronounce the same. 3.
Issue notice.

Mr. Anirban Bhattacharya, learned counsel for the Respondent accepts notice and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 5.
Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of four months from 01.07.2025. 6.
Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
