% 15.02.2016 Soni Kumari has been produced in court.
We have spoken to the parties and their parents in the chamber as well as in the open court. In the presence of her uncle / chacha, her father and mother, Soni Kumari has vehemently stated that she is a major which is not disputed by any of the parties and she wishes to join the company of the petitioner. The petitioner is also present in court along with his mother and sister. The mother of the petitioner states that she has no objection in accepting Soni Kumari as her daughter-in-law. The petitioner / husband submits that he will be fully responsible for her well-being and she had informed him that she should be rescued as her family members are forcing
her for second marriage. The parents have vehemently opposed this relationship. It is stated that if their daughter joins the company of the petitioner / husband, they will cut all family ties with her, her husband and her in-laws. Since Soni Kumari has joined the petitioner, counsel for the petitioner prays that no further orders are required to be passed. The writ petition is accordingly disposed of as not pressed.
