At this stage, Mr. Bhuvneshwar Tyagi, Advocate along with Mr. Sunil Kumar Mishra, the Head of the HR of the Petitioner/Company has appeared in Court along with learned Counsel for Respondent No.1. 7.1 Learned Counsel for the Petitioner submits that he has just been engaged in the matter yesterday and he has filed his Vakalatnama today. Registry is directed to take the Vakalatnama on record. 8.

Learned Counsel for the parties submit that they could not appear on the first call, however, it is contended by the learned Counsel for the parties that the parties have amicably settled the matter and thus this Petition has become infructuous.

In this behalf, they seek to rely upon memorandum of settlement dated 25.08.2025 between the Respondents and the Petitioner/Company [hereinafter referred to as the "MOU"]. A physical copy of the MOU has been handed over in the Court today. The Registry is directed to scan and upload the same so that it remains embedded in the case file. 10.

The MOU sets out that the parties have settled their inter se disputes and that a lumpsum payment of Rs.50,000/- would be paid by the Petitioner to the Respondent No.1/Workman in final settlement of all his claims. W.P.(C) 11033/2020 Page 2 of 3

The sum of Rs.50,000/- has been handed over by the Petitioner to the Respondent No.1, who is present in Court today. The Respondent No.1 acknowledges this payment and submits that he has no objection if the amount as deposited with the Registry of this Court in terms of the order dated 23.12.2020 inclusive of up-to-date interest, be released in favour of the Petitioner/Company.

Learned Counsel for the parties submit that in view of the settlement arrived at between the parties today, noting further remains in the matter and the Petition be disposed of.

The Petition is disposed of in the aforegoing terms. 14.

The parties shall abide by the terms and conditions as set forth in the Settlement Agreement.

The date already fixed, i.e., 15.10.2025 hereby stands cancelled. 16.
