1. Allowed, subject to all just exceptions.

2. Appearing on advance notice, Mr Jagjit Singh, learned counsel for the Respondents, on instructions, states that considering the medical condition of the Petitioner, the Respondents are willing to give the Petitioner duties which are not strenuous provided he reports at the office of the DRM, Northern Railways. He further states that after reporting for duty, if the Petitioner makes a representation to the General Manager for transfer to the Firozpur Division, such representation will be considered on its own merits, as expeditiously as possible.

3. Such a decision on the Petitioner's representation to the GM, after he reports for duty at the office of the DRM, be considered without being influenced by any earlier refusal of any such representation.

4. The petition is disposed of in above terms. Pending application is also disposed of. No costs.
