The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.0430/2017 under Section 135 of the Electricity Act, 2003 (EC Act) registered with PS Amar Colony, be quashed.

The disputes between the parties were referred to the Lok Adalat and the petitioners have settled the disputes with respondent no.2 (BSES Rajdhani Power Limited). It is stated that in terms of the said settlement, the petitioners have already paid a sum of ₹72,000/- to respondent no.2 in full

and final settlement of all respondent nos. 2's claims. The learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 also confirms that the entire amount of ₹72,000/- has been received and he has instructions to support the present petition.

In view of the above, the present petition is allowed and the FIR No.0430/2017 under Section 135 EC Act registered with PS Amar Colony, and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed. VIBHU BAKHRU, J AUGUST 30, 2019 MK
