This is an Application under Section 528 of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 („BNSS‟) for extension of interim bail granted to the Applicant by this Court vide order dated 19.03.2025 passed in BAIL APPLN. 861/2025 for a further period of eight (8) weeks on the ground that the Applicant has undergone surgery for „Calculus at right Vesicoureteric junction‟ and is still under observation of the doctors and is being advised for second/further surgery around 7-8th June for "PCNL/Nephrology" as right kidney is functioning at 15% only.

learned Additional Public Prosecutor („APP') to file a status report and listed the matter on 11.06.2025 before the Vacation Bench. 5.

When the matter was taken up, the learned APP has submitted the status report dated 11.06.2025. The same is taken on record. 6.

As per the status report, the medical documents show that: "2) PCNL / Nephrectomy was planned. But due calculus at Rt. Vesicoureteric junction Emergency Surgery done to Remove calculus (URS).

3) PCNL / Nephrectomy will be planned after Recovery. It may take 2-3 weeks. Further course of treatment will be decided by Urosurgeon/Nephrologist."

In view of the above medical report, it appears that the Applicant will have to undergo a surgery as prescribed by the doctors. Accordingly, the interim bail granted to the Applicant vide order dated 19.03.2025 in BAIL APPLN. 861/2025 is extended by four (4) weeks from 11.06.2025 to 09.07.2025 on medical grounds, on the same terms and conditions as imposed by order dated 19.03.2025 passed by this Court. 8.

The Application stands disposed of.
