The present petition is filed seeking quashing of proceedings in Criminal Case No. 1170/2025 arising out of FIR No. 334/2023 pending before the learned Trial Court. 2.

The FIR was registered pursuant to a complaint given by Respondent No. 2 alleging cruelty on account of dowry. 3.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner is the brother-in-law of the complainant and had never stayed with the complainant or her husband.

She submits that the complainant had a love marriage with the petitioner's brother whereafter they had always stayed separately. She submits that the petitioner has been implicated solely to pressurise the family members.

However, since the chargesheet has already been filed and the matter is listed before the learned Trial Court on 19.07.2025 for arguments on charge, the learned counsel for the petitioner The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. seeks liberty to withdraw the present petition and take all arguments before the learned Trial Court.

Undisputedly, the petitioner has an alternate efficacious remedy to address all arguments before the learned Trial Court. The learned Trial Court, after considering the arguments, will pass an appropriate order.

Considering the above, the present petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioner to take all arguments before the learned Trial Court at the stage of arguments on charge.

The learned Trial Court is directed to pass an order without being influenced by the filing of the present petition or any observations made in the present order.
