Petitioner herein has filed a petition which seeks divorce on the ground of cruelty and desertion.

The limited prayer in the present petition is to the effect that the learned Judge, Family Court may be requested to expedite the trial. The petition was filed in the year 2021 and there is no instance of any undue hardship or extreme exigency cited, which may necessitate passing any such direction, while exercising supervisory jurisdiction.

Of course, the Court can always deny any request of adjournment coming from the parties, if such request is found to be unmerited or unwarranted. 4.

Be that as it may, this Court does not find any real requirement of issuing any time-bound direction and, therefore, the present petition is dismissed. 5.
