W.P.(C) 8584/2024 2.

The Petitioner seeks quashing of the Look Out Circular,1 which was issued by Bureau of Immigration2 on the request received from Central Bureau of Investigation.3 3.

CBI's request for issuance of the aforesaid LOC emanated from an FIR bearing No. RC0502022A0016 dated 22nd December, 2022. 4.

It is undisputed that the aforenoted FIR stands quashed by this Court pursuant to order dated 24th July, 2024 passed in W.P. (Crl.) No. 3205/2023. In light of the foregoing, since the underlying criminal case that formed the basis for CBI's request for issuance of the LOC no longer subsists, the present writ petition is allowed.

5.

Accordingly, the following direction is issued: 5.1.

The request for LOC issued by CBI in respect of the aforenoted FIR stands quashed. Accordingly, BoI is directed to update their records. 6.

With the above direction, petition is disposed of. SANJEEV NARULA, J DECEMBER 20, 2024 sapna 1 "LOC"
