Petition under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 ('Cr.P.C.') has been preferred on behalf of the petitioner for quashing of proceedings in complaint under Section 12 and application for interim maintenance under Section 23 of the Protection of Women from Domestic Violence Act, 2005, in CC No. 929/2021 pending before learned MM, (Mahila Court) 04, Central District, Tis Hazari Courts, Delhi. 2.

Learned counsel for the petitioner informs that the matter has been amicably settled between the parties before Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre (SAMADHAN) in terms of Mediation Settlement dated 13.08.2024. He submits that apart from disputes between petitioner and respondent, there are other issues between the parties, due to which settlement has also been entered into by Mr. Mukul Kishore (s/o Jagdeep Kishore / petitioner) and Mrs. Nilanjana Saxena (sister of Jagdeep Kishore / petitioner). Learned counsel for parties submit that undertaking of the parties to abide by the terms of settlement agreement shall suffice for purpose of disposal of present proceedings in terms of statement of parties. 4.

Respondent Renu Kishore through VC submits that disputes have been amicably settled and she has no longer any grievance in this regard. She further undertakes to withdraw the proceedings preferred under Section 12 of the PWDV Act, 2005 and abide by the settlement, subject to compliance of steps to be taken, as agreed between the parties in settlement agreement. 5.

Petitioner Jagdeep Kishore (Advocate) in person also undertakes to abide by the settlement.

I have interacted with the parties and they confirm that the matter has been amicably settled between them without any threat, pressure or coercion. They further submit that nothing remains to be further adjudicated upon between the parties and undertake to abide by the settlement as stated above. Taking the statement of both petitioner and respondent on record, petition is accordingly disposed of. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed of.

A copy of this order be forwarded to the learned Trial Court for information.
