Learned APP for the State and respondent no.2, who is present in person, accept notice.

With the consent of the parties, the present case is taken for final hearing.

Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks quashing of FIR No. 185/2016, registered at PS-Ghazipur, Delhi for the offences punishable under Sections 354A/323/509/34 IPC and consequent proceedings arising therefrom.

The petitioners and respondent no.2 with the intervention of their well wishers and relatives entered into an amicable settlement vide settlement deed dated 10.06.2019 and settled all their disputes amicably.

Complainant/Respondent No. 2 is personally present in person and has been identified by SI Sanjeev Kumar/IO of Police Station Ghazipur and submits that matter has been settled and she does not wish to prosecute the matter any further.

Taking into account the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to quash the concerned FIR as no useful purpose would be served in prosecuting the petitioners any further.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the parties, I hereby quash the FIR No. 185/2016, registered at PS - Ghazipur, Delhi for the offences punishable under Sections 354A/323/509/34 IPC and all other proceedings emanating therefrom.
