The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No.404/2017 under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003, registered with PS Sangam Vihar and the consequent proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed.

The petitioners state that the dispute with respondent no.2 (BSES Rajdhani Ltd.) was settled before the Lok Adalat and in terms of the settlement, the petitioner had already paid a sum of ₹2 lakhs as agreed. 4.

The learned counsel appearing for respondent no.2 also confirms the same. He also states that respondent no.2 would not be pursuing the FIR.

In view of the aforesaid statement, the present petition is allowed and the FIR No. 404/2017, under Section 135 of the Indian Electricity Act, 2003, registered with PS Sangam Vihar, and proceedings arising therefrom are quashed.

The petition is disposed of.
