This petition has been filed under Article 227 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973 (in short, 'CrPC') praying for a direction to the learned Metropolitan Magistrate-02, Dwarka Courts, New Delhi (hereinafter referred to as the 'Trial Court') to expedite the conclusion of the Trial in FIR No.0329/2016, registered with Police Station: Dabri, South-West District, Delhi under Section 392 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (in short, 'IPC'), pursuant to which Cr. Case No. 967/2018, titled as State vs. Sameer, has been registered and is pending adjudication before the learned Trial Court. 2.
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the chargesheet in the above FIR was filed on 31.10.2017. two of the co-accused, the offence has already been compounded. He submits that the charges against the petitioner were framed on 15.07.2019 and presently, the Trial is at the stage of Prosecution Evidence.

Keeping in view the fact that the charge-sheet was filed on 31.10.2017, the learned Trial Court is requested to expedite the conclusion of the trial and not to grant any unwarranted adjournment to either of the parties, that is, the accused or the prosecution, and to make an endeavour to adjudicate on the same, preferably within a period of six months from the first listing of the trial before it post this order.
