Learned APP and respondent no. 2 accept notice. With the consent of the parties.

Vide the present petition, the petitioner seeks direction thereby for quashing of FIR no. 1110/2014, registered at Police Station Dabri for the offences under Section 3(1)(za) of SC & ST Act 1989 and Section 509 IPC. The present petition has been filed on the ground that the matter has been settled between the petitioners and the respondent no. 2/complainant and respondent no. 2 states that he does not wish to pursue the present case further.

Respondent no. 2 is present today on the court and he has been identified by the ACP Anand Prakash. This court also interacted with the respondent, who states that the matter has been compromised with the petitioner and he does not wish to pursue the present case further.

Keeping in view the settlement arrived at between the parties, I hereby quash the present FIR no. 1110/2014, registered at Police Station Dabri and all other proceedings emanating therefrom. Petition is accordingly allowed and disposed of. SURESH KUMAR KAIT, J SEPTEMBER 02, 2019 @mit
