The present petitions have been preferred by the petitioners seeking quashing of the Kalandara proceedings initiated under Section 107/151 Cr.P.C. under GD No. 0088A dated 12.08.2023, P.S. Maidan Garhi as well as for release of the mobile phones seized during the said proceedings. It is stated that the petitioners have already furnished their bonds in terms of the directions and are restricting to the prayer for release of their mobile phones.

Considering that the Kalandara proceedings are only to maintain peace and harmony for the period specified and one year has passed since then, the petitioners may approach the concerned I.O. for release of the mobile phones.

Learned APP for the State, on instructions, submits that the present petitions will be considered as a request and steps will be taken for release of the mobile phones unless required in any other case. 5.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the petitioners would approach the concerned I.O., for release of their mobile phones. 6.

In view of this, the petitions are disposed of alongwith pending applications.
