Issue notice. Notice is accepted by the learned APP for the State.

Learned APP submitted that the State has no objection in case the petition is allowed and the Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings.

Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the FIR is dated 26.11.2013 and the charge-sheet is filed on 18.2.2017. However, only one witness has been examined so far. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that the Trial Court may be directed to expedite the trial in this matter since the

petitioner is unnecessarily facing hardship.

Learned APP submitted that the prosecution shall produce all the witnesses, in compliance of the order of the Trial Court without any fail, on the dates so fixed by the Trial Court.

Taking into consideration the submissions of the learned counsel for the parties, even otherwise it is a matter of right of the petitioner for the expeditious disposal of the case, the Trial Court is directed to expedite the trial and dispose of the matter within one year and submit a report. In case the matter is not disposed of within one year of the passing of this order, the Trial Court shall submit a report in a sealed envelope to this Court, disclosing why the matter could not be disposed of within one year.

The petition is disposed of in above terms.
