The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR bearing no. 0207/2013, under Section 363 of the IPC, registered with Police Station Ghazipur, Delhi and all consequential proceedings arising therefrom, be quashed.

Mr Lao, learned ASC for the State points out that in addition to the offence under Section 363 IPC, the offences under Sections 366/376 of the IPC read with Section 6 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012, were also added.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.3 (father of respondent no.2). It is stated that respondent no.2 had married the petitioner and this had led respondent no.3 to file the aforementioned FIR. 4.

Mr Lao, learned ASC states that it has been verified that respondent no.2 and the petitioner are happily married and have two issues from their wedlock. Their marriage has been accepted by the family members of respondent no.2. The parents of respondent no.2 are arrayed as respondent

no.3 and 4 respectively.

Respondent no.2 to 4 are present in Court and are identified by the Investigating Officer. They state that they have no grievances against the petitioner. The father of respondent no.2 (respondent no.3) states that he does not wish to pursue the FIR as he has accepted the petitioner as his sonin-law. 6.

There is no controversy that the petitioner and respondent no.2 had established their relationship voluntarily.

In view of the statements made by respondent no.2 to 4, and in the peculiar circumstances of this case, this Court considers it apposite to allow the present petition. This Court is also of the view that ends of justice would not be served in pursuing this FIR any further. 8.

Accordingly, the FIR bearing no. 0207/2013, registered with Police Station Ghazipur, Delhi and all consequential proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed.
