This writ petition is disposed of with the order that the departmental appeal filed by the petitioner with the respondent since now has been pending for around a year will be positively heard and disposed of by the respondent within a period of two months from today. 2.

It is made clear that in case the decision is not taken by the appellate authority within a period of two months in the facts of the present case, this Court will be liable to consider appropriate orders against the authorities responsible for delaying in disposal of the appeal filed by the petitioner.
