O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 351/2019 This petition has been filed by the petitioner under Section 29A (4) &

(5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. The prayer made in the petition is for extension of time by a period of six months for the Sole Arbitrator, to conclude the proceedings and render the Arbitral Award. I have been informed by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the period had expired on April 10, 2019. He states, as this matter is being heard by the Sole Arbitrator along with the other connected matters listed at serial nos. 32 to 35, i.e. OMP (Misc.)(Comm.)347/2019, OMP (Misc.) (Comm.) 387/2019, OMP (Misc.) (Comm.) 349/2019 and OMP (Misc.) (Comm.)

350/2019, sufficient time coinciding with the time as has been granted in the said cases be granted in this case as well.

In other words, it is his submission that the period up till February, 2020 be granted to the Sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the arbitral award. Noting the contents of the petition and even the learned counsel for the respondent has given his consent, I extend the time for the Sole Arbitrator to complete the proceedings and render the Award till February 8, 2020.

The petition stands disposed of.
