The petitioners have filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that directions be issued to respondent no.4 (father of petitioner no.1) not to interfere in the peaceful married life of the petitioners in any manner. The petitioners state that they have married against the wishes of petitioner no.1's family and are apprehensive about their safety. 3.
The learned counsel appearing for the State states that inquires had been conducted and it was found that the petitioners are not residing at the address as claimed by them (C-2/6, New Ashok Nagar, Vasundhra Enclave, Delhi-110096). The petitioners are present in the Court and insist that they
are residing at the said address.

In view of the above, respondent no.2 (SHO, PS Ashok Nagar) is directed to once again conduct inquiry as to whether the petitioners are residing at the address so provided. He shall also examine their allegations and afford the petitioners such protection as he considers necessary. Respondent no.2 shall provide the mobile number of a beat constable/or any other official who could be contacted by the petitioners in case of any emergency.

The petition is disposed of with the aforesaid observations. The pending application is also disposed of.
