Learned counsel for the petitioner, after some arguments, submitted that he may be allowed to withdraw the bail application without prejudice to the rights and contentions of the parties, however, a direction may be passed to the Trial Court to expedite the proceedings and dispose of the matter within 4-6 months. 2.

Learned APP submitted that only the prosecutrix has been examined so far and there are 24 more witnesses who are yet to be examined.

Accordingly, the bail application is dismissed as withdrawn. The Trial Court is directed to expedite the proceedings and dispose of the matter preferably within one year.
