Petition under Section 528 of the Bhartiya Nagrik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed on behalf of the Petitioners for quashing of FIR No. 764/2021 under Section 354/354(B)/323/34 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 (hereinafter referred to as 'IPC') dated 25.12.2021 registered at Police Station Raj Park, District North-West, in view of the Settlement dated 22.04.2025.

On advance Notice, learned APP appears and accepts Notice. 3.
The Petitioners and the Complainant are neighbors and have shops on the road side adjoining to each other. About three days ago, some dispute has arisen on account of holding their shops, which have been amicably settled.

It is submitted that the FIR was a consequence of the disputes between the Complainant and the Petitioners. On intervention of the relatives, family friends, neighbors, as well as, the lawyers, the Petitioners and the Respondent No. 2 have amicably settled all the disputes and differences between them and arrived at Settlement vide Compromise Deed dated 22.04.2025.

Today, the Respondent No. 2, who is present through videoconferencing, states that and has no objection if the FIR is quashed. 7.
The Statement of the parties have already been recorded before the learned Joint Registrar. They have entered into the Settlement voluntarily and without any fear and coercion and undertake to remain bound by the terms of the said Settlement.

Considering the nature of the dispute, which is essentially a neighborhood fight and that they have settled the matter, the FIR No. 764/2021 under Section 354/354(B)/323/34 IPC dated 25.12.2021 registered at Police Station Raj Park, District North-West and all the consequential proceedings emanating therefrom are quashed.

The Petition is disposed of accordingly.
