The petitioners challenge the order dated 25.04.2025, passed by the learned Principal Judge, Family Courts, North District, Rohini Courts, pursuant to which the respondent has been directed to pay a maintenance of ₹20,000/- to the petitioners, who are wife and 22 years old daughter of the respondent.

The income of the respondent has been assessed as approximately ₹1,50,000/- per month and that of Petitioner No.1 to be around ₹80,000/- per month.

The daughter is stated to be 22 years of age and is pursuing her studies.

As rightly observed by the learned Family Court, it is the duty of both parents to maintain children. In such circumstances, payment of ₹20,000/- as monthly maintenance by the father is reasonable.

I, therefore, find no merit in the present petition. 6.
