+ BAIL APPLN. 2222/2019 NIKHAT PARVEEN & ORS ..... Petitioners Through Mr Javed Ahmad, Ms Mehvish Hameed, Advocates.
versus THE STATE OF NCT OF DELHI ..... Respondent Through Ms Meenakshi Chauhan, APP with W/SI Neelam, P.S. Timar Pur present.
Mr S.A.A. Abdul, Advocate for complainant.
CORAM:
HON'BLE MR. JUSTICE VIBHU BAKHRU
O R D E R
% 27.11.2019 1.
The petitioner has filed the present petition seeking anticipatory bail in connection with FIR No. 188/2017 under Sections 498-A/406/34 of the IPC, registered with Police Station Timarpur, Delhi. 2.
The present petition was listed on 17.10.2019 and on that date, learned counsel appearing for the parties had expressed their desire to resolve their disputes. In view of the above, the petitioners and the complainant were directed to appear before the Delhi High Court Mediation and Conciliation Centre on 30.10.2019 at 10.30 a.m., however, the said order was not complied with as the petitioner did not appear before the DHCMCC, as directed.
3.
Ms Meenakshi Chauhan, learned APP states that although the petitioner has joined the investigation, however, no recoveries have been
made so far. A perusal of the complaint also indicates that part of the alleged to be dowry, had been paid to the petitioner directly through banking channels. Considering the overall circumstances, this Court does not consider it apposite to allow the present petition. 4.
The petition is, accordingly, dismissed.
