This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the learned Arbitrator by a period of six months from 10.06.2025.

It is stated in the petition that due to alleged non-receipt of payments for the work done by the Petitioner pertaining to a Contract between the parties, Petitioner approached the Micro and Small Enterprise Facilitation Council under MSMED Act, 2006, but the conciliation proceedings failed and the matter was referred to the Delhi International Arbitration Centre (DIAC) for arbitration of the disputes. A Sole Arbitrator was appointed to adjudicate the inter se disputes of the parties by DIAC, however, the proceedings could not conclude till 11.03.2024 on account of the technical O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 461/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. nature of the disputes and voluminous record. 3.

It is stated that parties mutually consented to extension of the mandate of the Arbitrator for six months upto 11.09.2024, whereafter this Court extended the mandate vide order dated 17.01.2025 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 46/2025 upto 10.06.2025.

The arbitral proceedings are at the stage of rejoinder argument of the Claimant and in this backdrop, nine months extension is sought. 4.

Issue notice.

Ms. Karuna Sharma, learned counsel accepts notice on behalf of the Respondent and on instructions, submits that Respondent has no objection to the extension of mandate of the learned Arbitrator. 6.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the learned Arbitrator is extended by a period of nine months from 11.06.2025. 7.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
