This petition is filed on behalf of the Petitioner under Section 29A (4) and (5) of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 ('1996 Act') seeking extension of the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal. 4.

It is stated in the petition that the award was reserved by the learned Arbitral Tribunal on 10.03.2025, after the mandate was extended by this Court vide order dated 11.11.2024 in O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 875/2024 till 31.05.2025. However, vide e-mail dated 26.05.2025, the Arbitral O.M.P.(MISC.)(COMM.) 462/2025 The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. Tribunal informed the parties that certain clarifications were required qua the report submitted by the independent expert, for which a hearing was scheduled on 31.05.2025 and hence the mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal be extended.

Mr. Basant Kumar, Legal Assistant, DTC, appearing on advance copy of the petition submits that DTC has no objection to the extension of mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal.

Accordingly, with the consent of the parties, mandate of the Arbitral Tribunal is extended by a period of four months from 01.06.2025. 8.

Petition is allowed and disposed of in the aforesaid terms.
