On 28.03.2024, this Court had recorded that the hearing of this application was being deferred awaiting examination of Ms. Shalini, one of the prosecution witnesses before the Trial Court, which in turn was being postponed due to non-availability of the FSL report. Direction was issued to the Director, FSL to ensure that the FSL report is sent to the Trial Court as expeditiously as possible and preferably within four weeks from the date of the order.

Learned APP for the State has handed over a letter dated 23.04.2024 received from Director, FSL whereby further time till 31.05.2024 is sought to send the FSL report to the Trial Court, copy of the letter is taken on record.
