Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the respondent submits that as per the notification dated 30.05.2024, the student who has got the compartment in one paper is entitled to re-appear in the present examination. It is not denied that the re-assessment has been submitted by the petitioner for the history examination.

It is further submitted that even if the petitioner is found to qualify, he would still not be entitled to take the compartment examination because he has not successful in more than one subject.

As agreed by the parties, this Writ Petition be treated as the representation on behalf of the petitioner and be decided by the respondent within 15 days.
