The present writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 482 of the Cr.P.C., seeking issuance of a writ in the nature of habeas corpus for the production of the minor sisterin-law of the Petitioner- Ms. 'A', who has been missing since 26th November, 2023.

It has been stated in the Petition that Ms. 'A' went missing from Karawal Nagar, Delhi and FIR No. 0436 dated 26th November, 2023 was registered at P.S Karawal Nagar, Delhi.

In this petition, repeated Status Reports have been called for by the Court. The investigation has also continued in this matter. In one of the Status The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above.
Reports dated 30th July, 2024, the Police had analysed the CDRs and CAF was also obtained, however, Ms. 'A' was not traced. Thereafter, on 27th August, 2024, the Court was informed that there is a suspect who was identified, namely Krishna @ Kishan @ Chotu who may have accompanied Ms. 'A' and certain leads were received by the Police. On the said date, the files of the case were transferred to the AHTU (North-East District) on an urgent basis. On 3rd October, 2024 again, the Court was informed that further leads were received and Ms. 'A' was likely to be traced shortly. 5.
Today, an application i.e., CRL. M.A. No. __/2024 (to be numbered), for early hearing has been handed over to the Court by the State, stating that Ms. 'A' has been traced and the matter may be listed. Accordingly, the matter has been directed to be listed today.

The Petitioner and his wife i.e., the brother-in-law and sister of Ms. 'A' have also appeared before the Court. The Court had an in-chamber hearing with them. Ms. 'A' informed the Court that she had left with the boy mentioned above i.e., Krishna voluntarily as she has known him for more than one and half years. She further informs the Court that she has no grievance against Krishna in any manner and that she is willing to go back with her family.

Ms. 'A' and her family originally belong to Etawah, Uttar Pradesh. However, she was staying with her sister in Delhi, from where she had gone missing.

Accordingly, the girl- Ms. 'A' is handed over to her sister and brotherin-law/Petitioner, who are present before the Court today. 9.
Accordingly, the petition is disposed of in these terms. All pending application(s), if any, also disposed of.
