% 14.12.2024 The appellant/claimant seeks enhancement of compensation over and above what has been granted by the learned Tribunal vide award dated 21.11.2012.
We have interacted with the learned counsel/parties concerned. Apropos such interaction and due deliberation, the parties have agreed that respondent/Insurance Company shall pay enhanced compensation Rs. 1,50,000/- over and above the compensation granted by the learned Tribunal to the appellant.
In view of the settlement arrived at between the parties, the respondent no.1/Insurance Company is directed to deposit the enhanced amount of Rs. 1,50,000/- before the Concerned Tribunal within a period of five weeks from today, failing which the respondent shall be liable to pay interest @ 9% p.a. from delayed period. Learned Tribunal concerned shall release the aforesaid amount alongwith The authenticity of the order can be re-verified from Delhi High Court Order Portal by scanning the QR code shown above. interest, if any, to the appellant, subject to verification and completion of requisite formalities.
