By previous order dated 12th June, 2024, while issuing notice of this application filed seeking anticipatory bail, the Court had directed interim protection for the applicant till the next date of hearing. 2.

An FIR No.323/2024 was registered under Section 420 IPC and Section 12 of the Passports Act, PS IGI Airport. Background facts are that on 05th May, 2024 an Indian traveler was departing to Jeddah. During scrutiny of the travel documents, it was found that the passport pages 13 - 24 were missing from the passport. As per his disclosure, he had contacted a person named Ejaj, who is running a job consultancy, to whom he had given his passport. Subsequently, pursuant to the investigation, the police was led to the petitioner herein as well as co-accused Sajid Mohammad Noor. The APP for the State states on instructions that they have joined the investigation and they need not require an arrest. 4.

In light of the above, the Court is of the considered opinion that the petitioner is entitled to anticipatory bail. Consequently, in the event of arrest the petitioner be released on bail on furnishing a personal bond in the sum of Rs. 25, 000/- with one surety of the like amount subject to the satisfaction of the arresting officer/IO/SHO concerned, further subject to the condition that the petitioner will join investigation as and when directed and not influence any witness/complainant/victim or tamper with evidence of the case. 5.

Accordingly, the petition is disposed of. Pending applications (if any) are disposed of as infructuous.
