The present petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India has been preferred assailing the order dated 06.05.2024 vide which the petitioner‟s request for cancellation of posting order dated 20.02.2024 was rejected.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that the petitioner has, in terms of the impugned posting order dated 20.02.2024, already joined at his place of posting i.e. 32 Bn. in Churachandpur, Manipur and therefore, the petition has been rendered infructuous. Learned counsel for the petitioner does not deny this position.
