The petitioner has filed the present petition, inter alia, praying that FIR No. 0263/2019 under Sections 506/509 of the IPC registered with PS IGI Airport and all proceedings emanating therefrom, be quashed. 2.

The said FIR was registered at the instance of respondent no.2. She had alleged that the petitioner had misbehaved with her during a flight from Phuket to Delhi and she had lodged the said FIR on her arrival at New Delhi.

Respondent no.2 is present in Court and is identified by the

Investigating Officer. She states that she does not wish to pursue the FIR in question as the petitioner has apologized to her and she has accepted the same. She joins the petitioner in praying that the FIR in question be quashed. 4.

The petitioner is present in Court and is identified by his counsel. He states that he has resolved his dispute with respondent no.2. He further undertakes to this Court that he shall ensure that he shall not misbehave with any woman and ensure that all women are treated with dignity and respect. 5.

Considering the facts of this case, this Court is of the view that the ends of justice would be served in quashing the FIR, albeit, subject to certain conditions. The petitioner also undertakes to this Court that he shall pay a sum of ₹1 lakh to the Delhi Police Martyrs Fund within a period of two weeks from today.

In view of the statements made before the Court, the petition is allowed and FIR No. 0263/2019 under Sections 506/509 of the IPC registered with PS IGI Airport and all proceedings emanating therefrom, are quashed subject to the petitioner depositing a sum of ₹1 lakh with the Delhi Police Martyrs Fund within a period of two weeks from today. 7.

The deposit slip shall be furnished by the petitioner to the Registry of this Court. The Registry is directed to place this matter before this Court if the said proof of payment is not submitted within the time as stipulated as directed above.

The petitioner and respondent no.2 shall sign this order as an acknowledgment of the statements recorded herein.

The petition is disposed of in the aforesaid terms. 10.
