% 05.09.2024 The matter has been received upon transfer from a Co-ordinate Bench, since a connected bail petition bearing BAIL APPLN No. 3077/2024 is pending before this court.

The matter has been listed today based on communication dated 03.09.2024 addressed to the Registrar General of this court by the Jail Superintendent, informing the court that the petitioner has failed to surrender upon expiration of his period of interim bail granted in the present matter. However, vide order dated 30.08.2024 made in BAIL APPLN. No. 3077/2024, this court had directed the petitioner not to surrender before the Jail Superintendent till the next date of hearing, which was subsequently extended vide order dated 04.09.2024 till today. Since the petitioner has already been admitted to regular bail vide order dated 05.09.2024 i.e. today passed in BAIL APPLN. No. 3077/2024, the present petition seeking interim bail is disposed-of as infructuous. Pending applications, if any, also stand disposed-of.
